Hyundai Motor UK will attend SMMT Test Day on Thursday 25th May at Millbrook Proving Ground with the i10 (Premium SE 1.2 87PS), i30 (SE Nav + Visibility Pack 1.0 T-GDi 120PS) and IONIQ Hybrid (Premium SE 1.6 GDi) available to drive.
On static display will be the Hyundai IONIQ Electric Stand Up To Cancer Contactless Car. Featuring five contactless donation points, the bespoke IONIQ provides a convenient and interactive way to make a secure donation of either £5 or £10 to Stand Up To Cancer. Each donation triggers the innovative car to say ‘thank you’ – with an audio voiceover message, a flash of the car’s lights and the digital totaliser increases.
We would like to encourage anyone attending the Test Day to pop over to our stand with contactless cards at the ready and donate to a very worthy cause – everyone who visits the car will also have the opportunity to enter into a competition to win a new IONIQ EV!
The money raised by the Contactless Car will be used to fund translational research which helps to turn breakthroughs in the lab into revolutionary test and treatments for cancer patients. Following its appearance at the SMMT Test Day, it will be driven across the UK appearing at a number of Hyundai and Stand Up To Cancer events between May and November 2017.
