RISK: FMG help out Ingersoll Rand

FMG have cut incident rates by 20% within the first few months of a major new, 336-vehicle contract for commercial product manufacturer Ingersoll Rand.

The incident management company have saved Ingersoll Rand around £50,000 early into their three-year deal, through a variety of techniques including driver training.

Paul Holmes, Strategic Account Director at FMG, said: “As part of FMG’s unique ‘prevention is better than cure’ proposition, we’ve developed a range of services to help eliminate risks from fleet operations.

“Ingersoll Rand are a large, respected business, and ensuring their vehicles are on the road and ready to meet customer needs, is something we’re looking to ensure.

“We’ve worked with the business to help implement our risk reduction plan, and explain the clear benefits to the whole company.”

Neil Physick, HR Services Manager of Ingersoll Rand, added: “The holistic approach FMG takes to managing incidents was very important to us.

“FMG have tailored a bespoke risk solution to our fleet, which meets our needs and addresses the unique challenges of our industry, and the benefits are already showing.

“The flexible approach that has been adopted recognises that no two fleets are the same and therefore cannot be treated with a ‘blanket’ plan.”
