‘Best on the market’: Volvo unveil Euro VI FH16

REVEALED: Euro VI Volvo FH16
Volvo’s flagship FH16 will arrive in Euro VI configuration in March, the manufacturer have announced.
Scheduled for production in early June, the FH16’s Euro VI engine range will comprise of three output levels: 750hp, 650hp and 550hp.
All three will be mated to Volvo’s automated transmission, I-Shift, while the 550hp version will also be available in a variant with 2,800Nm for a manual gearbox.
Kristin Signert, Long Haul Segment Manager at Volvo Trucks, said: “We are proud to have succeeded in meeting the Euro VI requirements while at the same time retaining the best driveability and performance on the market.
“Fuel consumption also remains highly competitive.”
