Warwick Castle has emerged from the dark ages with the arrival of its very own shining knight – the all-electric Nissan e-NV200.

The award-winning 100% electric van is leading the world famous historic attraction’s valiant charge to a greener and more sustainable future.

And the noble Nissan has driven to the rescue, offering zero emissions transport across the site for just two pence per mile.

Graeme Nason, Warehouse Manager at Warwick Castle, said: “We wanted a vehicle that was up to all the jobs we need it for but which was the perfect fit for our environmental ethos. The Nissan e-NV200 is perfect.

“It’s great to never need to visit a petrol station and everyone loves driving it. We’ll certainly be looking to add more to our fleet.”

The castle’s e-NV200 was supplied through local Nissan dealer and electric vehicle specialist Arbury Nissan on Tachbrook Park, Leamington Spa. Big enough to accommodate two Euro pallets, the e-NV200 can cover up to 106 miles* on a single charge and can be charged from zero to 80 per cent in as little as 30 minutes. Prices start at £13,846.47.

James Mackay, Fleet Sales Executive at Arbury, said: “As one of the busiest tourist destinations in the Midlands, Warwick Castle needs a reliable vehicle throughout the year.

“We are delighted they have chosen the e-NV200 as one of their main vehicles on site as it’s incredibly cheap to run and a really good investment.”
