Dealer Of The Year Awards For Renault

Thierry Koskas, Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing of Groupe Renault, rewarded the best dealers of the Groupe’s global sales network during the prestigious ceremony for the annual ‘Dealer of the Year’ (DOTY) awards in Paris. Six of the 106 winning dealerships were UK-based.
Bagot Road Motors on Jersey, Gravells in Kidwelly, Renault Manchester, Shelbourne Motors in Portadown, T.C. Autos in Omagh and Renault Wirral were selected having exceeded expectations in every area of their business, including:
– Sales performance;
– Customer service quality;
– Compliance with brand identity standards;
– Profitability of their dealership
Thierry Koskas acknowledged the commitment, performance and professionalism of these Groupe dealers throughout the ceremony, underlying the importance of the dealers’ actions playing a key role in customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Thierry Koskas said to the winners of the DOTY: “Groupe Renault achieved excellent sales results last year thanks to the performance of its teams, especially that of the sales network, who accompanied and represented the Groupe with enthusiasm and professionalism. I would like to congratulate you for your daily work, always looking to improve customer satisfaction.”

As the network goes from strength to strength it is fantastic to see a number of our UK dealers being recognised globally by Groupe Renault – the winning dealers should be extremely proud of themselves.”
The Dealer of the Year awards come hot off the heels of the Auto Express Driver Power Dealer of Excellence awards in the UK where seventeen Groupe Renault dealers were praised after performing within the top-tier of dealers across eight Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that rate sales and aftersales procedures and service.
The awards also come at a time when Groupe Renault UK dealerships are exceptionally busy. In 2016 the All-New Mégane and All-New Scénic were launched across the network and Renault UK recorded a five-year high in sales with 85,102 Renault cars being sold and Dacia achieving its best year since launching in the UK with 26,499 sales last year.
