LOGO: BVRLA support members in campaign

Fleets should ‘look for the logo’ advertising their members when renting or leasing a car or commercial vehicle, the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) have insisted.

Launching a campaign advising customers and companies to support their members, the Association have produced a new leaflet ‘Why use a BVRLA member?’

The leaflet highlights the BVRLA’s unique mandatory Code of Conduct, Quality Assurance programme and Conciliation Service as reasons to support members.

It also explains how BVRLA members work together to promote best practice in providing safe, sustainable and affordable road transport.

As part of the campaign, the BVRLA have included an enlarged consumer section on their new website, providing much easier access to advice.

Advice includes sections entitled: ‘how vehicle rental can work for you’; ‘top tips for a stress-free rental experience’; ‘where to find a local rental operator’, and; ‘what to do at the end of a lease contract’.

Gerry Keaney, Chief Executive of the BVRLA, said: “We need to create a stronger awareness of the BVRLA and the benefits of booking with one of our members.

“Many public sector organisations already insist on working with a BVRLA member because they understand the role we play in maintaining standards and providing an avenue to resolve disputes in the event of a problem.

“By redesigning our website and producing this leaflet, we are giving our members even more reason to display their BVRLA logo with pride.”

The new leaflet and consumer advice section can be found at www.bvrla.co.uk.
