GUIDE: Technology can boost fleet safety
Brake are advising fleets on how in-vehicle technology can improve driver safety in a new guide.
The best practice report, produced as part of Brake’s campaign to help organisations save lives, money and the environment, is sponsored by GreenRoad.
Guidance includes expert advice delivered at a recent Brake seminar, which provides insight into key technological developments and discusses the effectiveness of various technologies.
It also presents a case study of one fleet operator who has seen dramatic improvements to driver behaviour and fleet operating costs, through in-vehicle telematics.
Roz Cumming, Professional Engagement Manager at Brake, said: “In-vehicle technology can greatly increase driver safety when used effectively, but requires careful evaluation and management.
“This report gives practical guidance on what to consider when selecting and implementing technological solutions for your fleet.”
The report is available for free to Fleet Safety Forum subscribers, or can be purchased for £5 by non-subscribers.
