BUILD: BCA Logistics make their move
BCA Logistics are building on their impressive recent growth by moving into new 10,000sq/ft premises in Birmingham.
The relocation, to 3,700 Parkside, Birmingham Business Park, sees 110 staff move from their current offices in Bordesley Green and Measham.
It arms BCA Logistics – the UK’s largest provider of logistics solutions in the automotive sector – with a purpose-built headquarters and technology hub.
Jamie Carr, Operational Director at BCA Logistics, said: “This new headquarters and technology centre provides us with the flexibility for future growth and expansion to meet and exceed the needs of our customers as we increase our market share and deliver new services in the vehicle logistics market.
“This superb new facility allows us to centralise a number of operational functions, which will provide improved service to customers through greater efficiencies and more effective and timely communication with every area of BCA’s business.
“Logistics fulfilment is a key part of our strategy to develop and deliver market leading remarketing solutions for our customers.”
BCA Logistics have enjoyed two years of sustained growth, with volumes increasing by around 30%.
Last month, the company announced the acquisition of nkl automotive, the vehicle logistics specialists based in Goole, Yorkshire.
