Time is money and new Business Breakdown Cover from Start Rescue saves both for all companies, from small independents to multi-nationals, on two wheels or four.
This brand-new service provides a no-hassle quote for a mixed fleet in one straightforward process, even with varying usages and vehicles up to 7.5-tonnes within the UK. European cover is available for vehicles up to 3.5-tonnes and includes trailers.
“We have received so many requests from fleet managers looking for a cost-effective yet administration-friendly solution and this bespoke system is all about getting the right cover quickly and cost-effectively,” says Lee Puffett, Managing Director of Start Rescue. “It is dedicated to fleet business and crucially, it avoids the ‘one size fits all’ product and pricing provided by our competitors.”
All Business Breakdown policies come with misfuel cover as standard, along with roadside assistance, local recovery, home assist, and alternative travel. It is even suitable for dual use drivers using their own vehicle, such as for courier work or food deliveries. For added convenience, company drivers can report a breakdown via the free Start Rescue app.
Fleets of up to 500 vehicles can be covered online, while larger fleet policies are administered by Start Rescue’s dedicated Customer Services team.
“Through our parent brand Call Assist, we have always supported fleets of all sizes and vehicle types through insurance intermediaries, but now customers can come to us direct for a dedicated service,” adds Lee Puffett. “All the fleet experience and expertise are already there in-house, as well as our award-winning customer service.”
Start Rescue has a 4.4-star rating on Trustpilot, a five-star Defaqto* rating and has achieved Which? Recommended Provider status for five years running. Start Rescue has also been awarded best Breakdown Cover provider in the Finder Customer Satisfaction Awards 2024 (www.finder.com), scoring 4.9 out of 5 for overall satisfaction with a 94% recommendation rate.
In the What Car? Survey of Best Breakdown Cover, Start Rescue came top for best response time, reaching 77% of call-outs in 30 minutes to an hour and didn’t leave anyone waiting for more than two hours. Start Rescue also won best in the survey for performing temporary repairs that let people continue with their journeys.
Launched in 2009, Start Rescue is an integral part of the nation’s fourth largest breakdown and recovery service, Call Assist, which now has more than two million UK customers.
