OPTION: New SKYACTIV-D 1.5 engine
The next-generation Mazda2 will debut the all-new SKYACTIV-D 1.5 engine.
Mazda have revealed that the new supermini will be paired with the 1.5litre clean diesel from launch, with innovations including an expanded homogenous lean burn range, less mechanical resistance, and new insulation technology.
The all-new Mazda2 will also be available with the full line-up of SKYACTIV technology, including the six-speed SKYACTIV-Drive automatic and SKYACTIV-MT manual transmissions.
It will also have the carmaker’s fuel-saving i-stop idle-stop and i-ELOOP brake energy regeneration systems.
