Scepticism, fear, wonder, and intrigue are all words that are increasingly associated with the concept of ‘driverless’ vehicles.

If you fall into any of these categories, or you’re just an Audi gearhead, then this incredible backseat footage of an Audi RS7 autonomously racing around the famed Hockenheimring track – where it topped out at 155kmph – will help enhance your fears/interest.

  1. FHG Is right. Bring on the driverless car. if you’re worried about the dangers, look at the History books when trains and cars were invented. thousands of doom mongers saying things which now appear ridiculous. cars were dangerous, hens would stop laying eggs, everybody would die of smoke, the human body couldn’t stand travelling faster than 20mph!! horses were here to stay etc… funny how people haven’t changed in the last 150 years.

  2. fhg can not spell, I would not take any notice of him or her.
I would not want to see driverless vehicles on our roads, there are too many variables that cannot be dealt with by a computer, they may work in principle and be OK in a test situation but keep them away from the roads.

  3. when can we order these for the fleet, get the sles people work a full day rahter than wastign time driving a car. :o) come on Audi i am ready to order
