LAUNCH: New Nissan Qashqai

Nissan’s new Qashqai will be priced from £17,595 with four trim grades available, it has been announced.

The crossover, which goes on sale in January, will boast CO2 emissions from 99g/km and be available in Visia, Acenta, Acenta Premium and Tekna trims.

Four engines will be offered – two petrol and two diesel – with the option of two- or four-wheel-drive and manual or Xtronic automatic transmission.

The most fleet-friendly is the 1.5litre dCi 110PSdirect injection diesel, with CO2 emissions of 99g/km and a combined fuel consumption figure of 74.3mpg.

Other engines available include the 1.6litre dCi 130PS, the 1.2litre DIG-T 115PS and the 1.6litre DIG-T 150PS.

Visia models enjoy a standard specification including automatic air conditioning, Hill Start Assist, a five-inch colour HD infotainment screen, Chassis Control, Speed Limiter and Cruise control.

Acenta models add dual-zone automatic air conditioning, premium leather steering wheel and gear knob, 17inch alloy wheels and a Luggage Board System.

The Acenta Premium features a raft of comfort and safety technologies, including the new-generation NissanConnect infotainment system with DAB radio.

A rear-view camera is also fitted as standard, along with i-key Start Push Button, parking sensors and a panoramic glass roof.

Range-topping Tekna models feature Bi-LED headlamps, Safety Shield with Traffic Signal Recognition and High Beam Assist.

They are also equipped with 19inch alloy wheels, roof rails, part-leather seats, a large glass roof, heated seats, parking sensors and intelligent key.
