MEMBER: New fleet for Lockwood Haulage

New Palletforce member Lockwood Haulage are investing in a new fleet to handle the increase in volume seen since joining the network.

The company have added two 18tonne rigid Scanias and one 12tonne rigid MAN vehicle, both in Palletforce livery, to their fleet.

They became a member of the UK and Europe’s leading palletised distribution network earlier this year, and have since also nabbed an additional 18tonne rigid Scania in their own livery.

Wayne Evans, Transport Director of Lockwood Haulage, said: “These new vehicles will help us to handle the increase in volumes we have received since becoming a member of Palletforce.

“It was also the ideal opportunity to reinforce our commitment to this new partnership with Palletforce.”

Ambergate-based Lockwood Haulage operate nationwide with a large fleet of 75 modern trucks ranging from 12tonne curtain-sided vehicles to 44tonne articulated units.

Dave Holland, Sales and Marketing Director at Palletforce, said: “We were delighted to welcome Lockwood Haulage to our network and it is fantastic to see one of our newest members investing in the Palletforce brand and showing such dedication to working together.”
