Europcar Group, the European leader in vehicle rental services and a major player in mobility markets, has launched its new mobility flagship station in Brussels. Designed as a unique and exclusivemultimodal platform, the new station reflects the Group’s ambition to become a global mobility solutions leader.

It also heralds the upcoming deployment throughout Europcar’s network, to put the power of digital technology — combined with a flexible, innovative and highly customised service offering — at the heart of the customer experience.

In response to the ever-growing role of smartphones in the customer journey, the new mobility location is equipped with digital kiosks designed to give customers quick access to practical information, alongside personal support from dedicated Europcar personnel, thus saving the customer valuable time.

The new concept creates an intuitive space to give customers a memorable experience and reinforce their relationship with the Europcar® brand. It will be rolled-out progressively to the whole Europcar network, creating an environment in line with Europcar’s® brand vision which is centred around “enjoyment” and its main brand values: empathy, simplicity, innovation and trust.

For the development of this next-generation station, the Europcar Group relied on the innovation capacity of its Europcar Lab to design solutions that can meet every mobility need, from rental to car-sharing, for daily and occasional requirements. For instance, it is possible to book a traditional or electric vehicle, access a car-sharing solution with Ubeeqo, a Europcar Group subsidiary, or rent a Scooter with Scooty, a partner of Europcar in Belgium which provides access to electric scooters.

The dynamic visual appearance and carefully planned layout, fashioned in the brand’s signature colour scheme, are designed to create a cozy yet elegant setting. Particular attention has been paid to comfort while customers wait, for example with smaller seats for children.

“With our Brussels flagship, we are confirming our commitment to provide a world class experience, both in the customer journey and the range of mobility solutions offered. Our goal is to deploy on a mid-term basis the new station concept in strategic places such as airports, railway stations or big European cities in order to better respond to our customers’ needs.” said Fabrizio Ruggiero, Europcar Group’s Deputy CEO, Sales, Marketing, Customers & InterRent.
